One of the primary goals of the IFM Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design is to assert unique identities rather than reproduce existing codes. The program's Image Option course, orchestrated by creative director David Herman, helps reveal these identities as much as it challenges them. Through this Styling Workshop, Bachelor students confronted the world of their graduation collections, still in development, with the expert eyes of stylist Céleste André and photographer Laura Pelissier. Radically altering the tone of a composition with an unexpected accessory, or imbuing a silhouette with a confident attitude for the first time in front of the camera with the help of professional models, are experiences that allow students to gain critical distance from their own narrative approach. For some, these experiences will reinforce their convictions; for others, they might trigger a transformative shift.
