This year, Collina Strada’s digital FW21 show, ‘Animorphs,’ drew inspiration from early-aughts sci-fi novels of the same title; transforming models Aaron Philip, Jeremy O. Harris, and others into balloon dogs, butterflies, and reptiles to present their upcycled and sustainable designs. Continuing the theme of addressing climate change and our ever-shifting environment, Collina Strada’s show depicts a hybrid world that’s not far from our own—where human and animal forms entwine—proving, once again, that we are always part of the natural world we inhabit.
