The X-Nails by Florian Joye, Tyson Parks & Jeanne-Salomé Rochat

The X-Nails is a nomadic beauty and jewellery workshop at the crossroads of fashion, technology and art, its action touches upon several points, by exploring the conditions for a straightforward reflection on the different methods of physical enhancement, body extension, production and interpretation of conceptual ornaments. The products are always unique and tailor-made, involving acrylics, other synthetic and organic fibers, mixed with precious metals and stones.

Here, Florian Joye's photographs elevate the X-Nails prosthetics to the transcendental. When married with Tyson Parks' ability to finesse the inanimate into the sublime, they dance anew in a slowly unfolding realm to the ambient music of Low Limit.
