Designer Phoebe Pendergast

This project centres around the work of London-based designer Phoebe Pendergast. Pendergast explores ideas of memory, childhood, and femininity through clothes, crafting universes from soft but poignant images like the crumbling of an old wallpaper, or the feeling of brushing your hair as a kid after a long day at play. She re-elaborates these feelings into fabric narratives that feel deeply personal yet share a sense of familiarity anyone could relate to. The outcome presented in this project are images created in collaboration with other London-based creatives who share the same sensitivities. The team supported Phoebe’s vision through imagery and styling, expanding her narrative with subtle gestures and layered details that mirror the delicacy of her world, allowing her universe to resonate even more vividly.
